I stumbled upon your blog following links from a of blogging doctors community that we have here in France (We have a big bunch of blogging doctors who try to develop a community to share experience and good practices).
I meant to tell you for some time... I like the stories you share with us, I like your attitude, I like the way you try to make your patients feel like they count and they can win and I like the way you keep your mind opened and try to improve
As a matter of fact, I think maybe I like you as a person, your attitude and the values you hold dear.
As I agree with your latest post that world can use more kindness, I send you these words as virtual hug from 4000+ miles across the Atlantic Ocean.
PS. I like very much the way your love for your family radiates from the pictures you’re kind enough to share with us. Zach and Isaiah look like wonderful kids.
Honestly? I write this blog to share the human aspects of medicine + teaching + work/life balance with others and myself -- and to honor the public hospital and her patients--but never at the expense of patient privacy or dignity.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Details, names, time frames, etc. are always changed to protect anonymity. This may or may not be an amalgamation of true,quasi-true, or completely fictional events. But the lessons? They are always real and never, ever fictional. Got that?
