The celebration. . .




I know that a lot of you are wondering about the details on Deanna's Homegoing Celebration. And wow--what a blessing that SO many people love my sister and our family and want to be there to celebrate her life!

Okay. Here's the deal:

VENI, VEDI, VICI: 
The Celebration of Life for Deanna L. Draper
December 8, 2012
Memorial Service will begin promptly at 3PM

*Delta Sigma Theta Homegoing Ceremony will precede the Memorial Service at 2PM. 
Deltas and loved ones/family (non-sorority members) may attend.

  1. I love the term Homegoing! I've never heard that before!! What a beautiful image that conjures up.

    I am the somewhat-official keeper of our family tree: there are 129 of us from just My Grandma and Grandpa.... when my daughter passed I just about lost it because I didn't want to put the (d) next to her name. I hated what that represented. My sweet cousin told me to use an (A) instead: Ascended into Heaven. I am SO GOOD with that!

    I continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. Every day, without fail.

    " Nothing dies in the way that we think....what really matters is that they are so beautiful whether they are still awake or not ".
