We are the champions, my friends.

Can I just say something that I know I've said here before? Man, I love being a doctor at Grady Hospital--Lord knows I do. But no way, no how does it even come close to the joy I feel from moments like these.

The only thing better than seeing your child with his chest poked out and a Pee-wee Superbowl Championship team trophy held high over his head is looking across the field at the only other person who you know for certain feels exactly the same about seeing that as you. . . .

. . .and then realizing that that person just so happens to be the love of your life.

Yeah.

Happy Sunday. No time for losers, y'all. (And I need to go on and on and on and. . .)

Well, clearly the late, great Mr. Freddie Mercury is playing on my mental iPod. Call this overkill if you will, but if you do, just know that you're being a hater. Ha ha. And what could be better than a live Queen medley with "We will rock you" AND "We are the champions?" Seriously? Seriously, people. It does not get any better than that. Does. Not. Mmmm hmmmm. *You're welcome.*

(That was for the undefeated Tucker Ducks--and their amazing coaches--who took the League Championship for their division on Saturday. Don't hate. Congratulate.)

    1. Yay! Yes! You and Mark have taught me to take pictures to relive moments. It's so wonderful when we do. Thanks.

  2. You know what? I get it. I have two boys, too, -- and I'm actually a sports-hater. But when those boys win and win big, I act like a kook! Congrats to all of you!

    (And I think you're adorable!)

    1. Well, missy! I just so happen to think you're adorable, too. And seriously? I think I have looked at that picture of Oliver from 2010 no less than five trillion times. Such lovely children you have, Elizabeth.
