Words to describe my first day of medical internship on June 24, 1996:
Fear.
Nervousness.
Angst.
Doubt.
Excitement.
Anticipation.
Awe.
Funny. Not much different than how I feel about our interns first day today. . . .
. . . or how I still feel almost every day.
